Apple Cider

We have run out of raw (unpasteurized) and pasteurized cider for the summer due to the poor apple harvest last year.  We will resume production of our apple cider in Sept as soon as the apple harvest comes in. Pasteurized cider is will be available at Harmons and Good Earth stores once we resume production.

What makes Farnsworth Farms Apple Cider taste so good? Our sorting process. Because we sell a raw (un-pasteurized) product, we have to be extremely picky about the apples that go into our cider. We hand sort through every apple to throw out the bad, rotten or moldy and cut out the bad parts. Our rule is: If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t put it in our cider. Most commercial juice makers receive their apples by the truckload with no hand sorting allowing bad, rotten and moldy apples to go in. The product is pasteurized, which kills any bacteria that could be in it, but the rotten apple can still be tasted. We are very proud of our delicious Apple Cider.

You can find our cider in most Harmon’s stores in the dairy department, usually next to the juices, Good Earth stores and other specialty stores.
